This route includes the iconic Bizkaia Bridge, also known locally as the Puente Colgante , which links Getxo and Portugalete. You will be visiting some of Getxo’s main tourist attractions, exploring Las Arenas to discover the stunning stately homes in the neighbourhood of Neguri, once the fashionable retreat of Bilbao’s wealthy classes. Furthermore, this tourist visit to Getxo also provides an opportunity to explore the old fishing neighbourhood of the Old Port - Puerto Viejo, strolling through its cobblestone alleyways and ending the guided tour by enjoying a typical tapa and drink - pintxo-pote – in Getxo’s pintxo bars.
